The founders of Il Nodo Il Nodo are designers who recognised in the Khmer artistic tradition a great potential to help the younger generations.

Indeed, design is a powerful tool that can enhance innate local craftsmanship skills, nurture creativity and stimulate the creation of design artefacts of higher aesthetic and formal quality..

With social design, we have created a concrete way to help the workers: the objects become more saleable, also suitable for the international market, and local craftsmen are increasingly in demand.
