WHAT WE DO
We help young Cambodians to escape poverty and leave ignorance behind by enhancing the traditional manual talent and culture of their country.
We implement finance education and training projects to improve participants’ current lives, but especially to prepare them for a successful future. This is why we like to call our work “life designs”.
THE ART WORKSHOP
La Bottega dell’Arte is a school of Design Craftsmanship (and of life), where young people learn to work raw materials with attention to local traditions with the addition of an international influence.
Italian design elements were in the DNA of our founding family. Combining that with the Khmer cultural heritage influences and the students’ manual talent, we end up creating and producing high-quality objects that can be globally marketed. In doing so, we create a concrete way of improving the economy and life of many families.
